Chicago shooting: Darius Watson identified as man shot, killed on 83rd Street in Wrightwood, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Police said a man died after being shot on Sunday.

According to Chicago police, the shooting occurred around 12:40 a.m. in the 2800 block of W. 83rd Street.

Police reported that a witness found a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was treated by Chicago firefighters; however, the man died.

The medical examiner later identified the man as Darius Watson of Chicago.

There is no one in custody. Chicago Area One detectives are investigating.
