Police are appealing for witnesses to the sexual assault of a teenager at this year’s Y Not summer festival in Derbyshire.

Police said the attack took place in front of a double-decker bus selling fudge near the main stage during a performance by The Kooks between 8.30pm and 10pm BST on Friday 2 August.

The suspect was described as having dark hair that was fluffy on the top but short on the sides, tattoos all over his body and a Liverpool accent.

Officers said they wanted to talk to witnesses, including the woman who was talking to the victim at the time and escorted him out of the area.
