Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea shares emotional moments with teenager injured by shark

Taylor Swift and her family made the teen fans’ night out special after she survived a shark attack earlier this year.

Less than two weeks later Lulu Gribbin she was attacked by a shark along with two other victims on separate Florida beaches on June 7, and her left arm and part of her right leg were subsequently amputated. The teenager received a handwritten letter “from the heart” and an invitation to the Eras Tour from Swift’s family.

Gribbin attended the Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on November 2, and a post about the experience was shared with, among others: Instagram an account documenting her journey on November 3.

“About ten days after her injury, Lulu received a package in the mail from @taylorswift with a handwritten note from her mother, Andrea,” the caption began. “They sent warm wishes right when Lulu and Gribbins needed them, and invited them to a concert of their choice whenever they were ready.”

Gribbin was in the hospital at the time and didn’t know when she would walk again, but she had made good progress since June. During the concert, “Lulu, her family and friends danced the night away during the Indianapolis show and had the opportunity to sit down with Swift’s mom,” the note continued.

The caption of the post ended with, “A well-deserved celebration for them all!! Thank you Taylor and the Swift family for amazing memories that I will never forget.”

According to a video documenting the entire experience, Gribbin and her family sat on the stadium floor and she had the opportunity to meet Andrea, 66, with whom she apparently exchanged a friendship bracelet in a separate post about the teen Instagram side.

According to an Instagram video, the handwritten note Andrea sent included a stationary song called “From the Desk of Taylor Swift” and a paper flower arrangement.

Shortly after the shark attack in June, Lulu’s mother, Ann Blair Gribbin, shared an update on her daughter, who was “conscious” and “talking” after surgery at the time.

Swift added: “Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last three US shows!! And here’s a friendly but incredibly important reminder that tomorrow is the U.S. election and your last chance to vote.”
