Two people, including a policeman, died after a DTC bus rammed into a divider near Monastery Market – India TV

Two people, including a Delhi Police constable, were killed after an out-of-control DTC bus hit a divider near Monastery Market, Ring Road in New Delhi.

“An out-of-control DTC bus hit a person and a policeman from the Civil Commissionerate and then hit the divider near Monastery Market on the Bypass. Unfortunately, both victims died. Both were pronounced dead. DTC bus driver Vinod Kumar, a resident of Ghazipur (57), is in police custody. The bus was in a state of breakdown and no passenger was on board except one DTC officer. Legal action has been taken,” the Delhi Police said on Tuesday.
