Police officers are investigating an accident on road No. 15

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – Police are investigating a crash that occurred on Route 15 North near exit 90 in East Hartford.

Initial findings indicate that at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to a nearby hospital.

No life-threatening injuries were reported.

The incident occurred when the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.

Authorities were able to take the person into custody with the help of East Hartford police.

State Police continue to investigate and no charges have been filed at this time.
