Young people critical of the attack by criminals on motorcycles in Pallaspalli

Bhubaneswar: A young man was critically injured after an alleged attack by three motorcycle-borne criminals in Pallaspalli area of ​​Bhubaneswar late yesterday evening.

The victim, identified as Shibaprasad Srichandan, was returning home from work on his scooter when he was attacked.

According to reports, the attackers chased Shibaprasad around 10 p.m. and then launched a brutal attack with swords. After carrying out the attack, the attackers fled the scene, leaving Shibaprasad seriously injured.

Shibaprasad was initially taken to Capital Hospital here for treatment and later as his condition worsened, he was shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

The police launched an investigation into the incident and officers tried to track down and arrest the attackers.

The motive for the attack has not yet been determined.

It is suspected that the attackers may have planned the attack by gathering information about Shibaprasad and waiting near Pallaspali to intercept him.
