Kingston is stuck in traffic after multiple vehicles collided in the Southern Outlet lane

Hobart’s Southern Outlet stopped south of the city this morning after a multi-vehicle crash.

The impact occurred about 3km from Kingston and extended towards the southern CBD just after 8am on Tuesday.

Emergency services are on scene and no injuries are reported at this stage.

Traffic is increasing in the area and drivers are advised to seek an alternative route or expect delays until the incident is cleared.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
