BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) – One person was killed and two others were injured Monday in a crash near Blair.

A passenger in a Ford Mustang convertible was killed in a three-vehicle crash just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 133 and County Road P26, a few miles south of Blair, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

WCSO investigators say the Mustang was traveling east on County Road P26 when it went through a stop sign on Highway 133, crossing one vehicle before being struck by a pickup truck.

The driver of the Mustang and the pickup truck were taken to hospital, while the passenger of the Mustang died at the scene. The driver of the third vehicle involved in the incident did not suffer any injuries.

The sheriff says he will release the name of the deceased victim after next of kin are notified.
