Domantas Sabonis status revealed for today’s match

The Kings and Hawks will face each other tonight, and while Sacramento star Domantas Sabonis was hesitant about coming to tonight’s game, his status for tonight’s game was just revealed. Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan and Malik Monk will not play in this game.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, Kobe Bufkin and De’Andre Hunter are not listed with injuries for tonight’s game against the Kings. Bogdanovic hasn’t played since the first game against Brooklyn, and Bufkin hasn’t played this season. Hunter has played three games this season, but missed yesterday’s game against Portland.

Although Vit Krejci will not play in this game, this is the Hawks’ healthiest game this season and we will finally see what this team can do with a healthy lineup. Keep an eye on tonight’s player minutes and rotations with the likes of Bogdanovic and Bufkin. Keaton Wallace has done a good job as the backup point guard in Bufkin’s absence, but the Hawks want to see if their former first-round pick is ready to take over as the backup point guard in his second season.

Heading into today’s game, the Hawks rank 6th in the NBA in PPG, 11th in FG%, 18th in 3PA, 20th in 3P%, 3rd in FTA, 28th in turnovers and 16th in rebounds. For Glass cleaningAtlanta ranks 14th in points per 100 possessions, 15th in effective field goal percentage, 21st in turnover percentage, 7th in offensive rebounding percentage and 6th in free throw rate.

The Jastrzębie they have improved in some ways defensively, but they are allowing the most threes per game in the NBA and are also allowing the highest three point percentage in the NBA. The team hasn’t shown consistent play in this regard from game to game, and the Hawks are usually prone to having at least one terrible quarter per game (see last night’s third quarter).

Atlanta currently ranks 28th in PPG field goal percentage allowed, 16th in field goal percentage allowed, 30th in three-point shooting percentage allowed, and 30th in three-point shooting percentage allowed. According to Cleaning the Glass, Atlanta ranks 22nd in points per 100 possessions and 27th in effective field goal percentage.

Trae Young leads the offense and is coming off a solid game against Portland. Young scored 29 points and had eight assists last night against Portland, but was hampered by the length and athleticism of parts of Portland’s defense. In the last game against the Kings, Young scored 25 points and had 12 assists. If the Hawks want to upset the Kings, Young must beat Fox, who has been the hottest player in the NBA over the last week.

Dyson Daniels is one of the stories of the NBA, but he had one of his worst games of the season last night against Portland. Daniels scored 12 points on 5-17 shooting and struggled with turnovers. Daniels will defend Fox tonight in what should be a great match.

Zacharie Risacher He only played 21 minutes last night and only six minutes in the second half. He had a solid game, scoring 11 points and four rebounds, and also played solid defense.

Statistically, Jalen Johnson had a good shooting night, but he also had seven turnovers. He finished with 25 points on 10-14 shooting and should have a favorable matchup. Johnson didn’t have a great game against the Kings in their first meeting, but I expect him to bounce back.

Clint Capela AND Onyeka Okongwu They were solid last night, but Okongwu struggled at times with Portland’s size. Capela played about 20 minutes in yesterday’s game and Okongwu played 28. If Sabonis is out, these guys should have an easier time grabbing rebounds. Larry Nance played 10 minutes in the last game and shared the court with both Capela and Okongwu.

The Hawks bench overworked against the Blazers last night and lost 58-25. That shouldn’t be the case tonight with the Kings shorthanded, but they need to get more. Okongwu scored 11 points and Vit Krejci had a solid first game back, scoring eight points and dishing out three assists. Keaton Wallace, Nance and Garrison Matthews combined for six points last night, although Wallace had some solid minutes on defense. I expect this to change once Bogdanovic and Bufkin return.

In the last two games, Fox scored 60 and 49 points. He plays well and shoots the ball well. With so many players off the court, there will be a lot going on on Fox tonight, but Keegan Murray, Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles will be other options for the Kings tonight. Lyles and Huerter struggled in their last game against the Hawks.
