The injured man taken to a hospital in Rajasthan survived 2 accidents, 4 died

A man injured in a road accident was involved in a second accident when an ambulance carrying him from Gujarat to Rajasthan was hit by a speeding dumper truck. Four people died in the accident, including two women and the ambulance driver.

The first accident occurred on Tuesday evening near the Gajangarh toll plaza on the Pali-Jodhpur highway in Rajasthan. The injured man, Ashok, was shifted from a private hospital in Palanpur, Gujarat to Jodhpur for further treatment. On the way, a cow entered the middle of the road, which caused the ambulance to break down.

A second ambulance was called from Jodhpur to continue the journey. While transferring a patient to a new vehicle, a dump truck collided with a stationary ambulance. The impact threw two passengers into nearby bushes.

Police and fire brigade reached the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital in Bangar. Both women died as a result of their injuries. The driver of one ambulance died during treatment in Jodhpur, while the other remains in hospital.

The patient’s other family members, standing some distance away, were not injured.

The deceased were identified as Mohini Devi Vishnoi and Fagli Devi Vishnoi, relatives of the patient, and Sunil Bishnoi, the ambulance driver. Authorities are working to confirm the identity of the fourth victim.

The police initiated a search for the tipper truck driver who fled the scene.
