Man allegedly raped 11-year-old stepdaughter who gave birth to his child: prosecutors

An Ohio man has been found guilty of raping his 11-year-old daughter after his two stepdaughters also came forward alleging he raped them.

One of the stepdaughters claimed that a 48-year-old convicted sex offender raped her and that she gave birth to his child when she was 11 years old.

A Columbus man has been found guilty of one count of rape of a child under 13 and one count of gross sexual imposition. Franklin County Attorney’s Office – wrote in the statement.

The conviction against the man, whom PEOPLE is not naming to protect the identities of his family members, stems from his daughter’s rape accusations in 2022, according to the office.

Police responded to a residence in Columbus in August 2021, where the man’s daughter and two stepdaughters stated that he had sexually abused them repeatedly, News and Follower – he said, citing unspecified court documents.

The documents show that the 11-year-old daughter accused the police that the man had sexually abused her.

The stepdaughters then accused the man of raping them when they were between 11 and 17 years old, between 2008 and 2019, when they all lived together, NBC4 – he said, citing the prosecutor’s office.

According to the police, during this time the perpetrator impregnated one of his stepdaughters, and she gave birth to the child when she was 11 years old. News and Follower.

NBC 4 reported, citing prosecutors, that DNA testing later confirmed he was the child’s father.

It was not immediately clear whether his stepdaughters faced any other charges. The Franklin County Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for additional information.

The perpetrator is to be sentenced on December 17 and faces life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 15 years, the prosecutor’s office said in its statement.
