The North Korean leader accused the United States of escalating tension and provocative behavior, stating that the Korean Peninsula has never been at such a serious risk of nuclear war as it is now.

According to the state news agency, Kim Jong Un called for the modernization of the country’s military arsenal.

On Thursday, Kim Jong Un said during a speech at a military exhibition in Pyongyang that he had tested negotiations with Washington, but the results showed that US policy towards North Korea remains “aggressive and innate.”

Previously, Kim Jong Un also urged his military to increase its ability to conduct actual warfare.

Accusing the US and its allies of increasing tensions, the North Korean leader called on his forces to prepare for war.

Last week, during an inspection of a drone testing site, Kim ordered Pyongyang to prioritize “mass production” of suicide drones.

These events underscore North Korea’s growing focus on military modernization, signaling an increasingly aggressive posture amid tense relations with the U.S. and its allies.

The push to mass produce advanced weapons such as suicide drones reflects Pyongyang’s desire to strengthen its deterrent capabilities.

International observers warn that the escalation of rhetoric and military action could lead to increased instability in the region. Diplomatic efforts are urgently needed to ease tensions and prevent the situation on the Korean Peninsula from escalating into a conflict.
