A second man accused of attacking a strip club held the victim’s brother in a chokehold

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – A second person has been charged in the case assault at a Davenport strip club earlier this year.

Police said Dzeat J. Beciri, 44, of Silvis, held the victim’s brother in a headlock, preventing intervention in the attack that left him with a skull and jaw fracture after being hit in the head in the Daisy Dooks parking lot on ul. April 13.

Beciri was booked into the Scott County Jail on Thursday on suspicion of intentionally causing serious injury, a Class C felony; assault while participating in a crime, class D felon; and engaging in a riot, a class D felony.

Online prison records show he posted a $5,000 bond and was released shortly thereafter. He has a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.

Michael McFedries, 45, of Davenport, was arrested April 30 during an assault and charged with intentionally causing serious injury.
