Police are looking for the SUV responsible for the man’s death :: WRAL.com

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is asking for help locating an SUV that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Interstate 40 in Johnston County.

Authorities found the body of Ryan Shyllon Opher around 7:10 a.m. Friday in the middle of I-40 between the interstate parking lot and Exit 325. Opher was 38 years old.

The State Highway Patrol said Opher was a pedestrian and that the SUV struck and killed him.

The police are looking for a Nissan Rogue with significant damage to the left front bumper and headlight area. Authorities believe the Nissan is gray in color.
