The latest report on a potential Lonzo ball trade

The latest report on a potential Lonzo ball trade

The Chicago Bulls have been involved in NBA trade rumors since the offseason, and it’s only gotten worse as the deadline approaches. Chicago, which is expected to sell, has veterans such as Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic who could attract interest from rivals.

While LaVine and Vucevic receive the most attention when NBA trade rumors are discussed, veteran point guard Lonzo Ball is another player who could be on the move. Ball returned this year after missing two seasons due to injury, and while his minutes are limited, his former second overall pick has shown some positive signs.

Recent Base an article by NBA insider Marc Stein mentioned the possibility of trading the ball.

Via Stein: “The complications Chicago faces in trying to add another former All-Star in Zach LaVine are well chronicled, but the Bulls are expected to find agreements between now and the Feb. 6 deadline, which will feature Vučević and probably Lonzo Ball. “

Reports on this matter have been interesting as there have been rumors about Ball’s potential availability, but there have been few reports on the likelihood of a trade being made. Stein’s report indicates that Vucevic is more likely to be considered, but it’s possible that Ball will also be on his way from Chicago.

Ball averaged 5.5 points, 3.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 16 appearances for Chicago this season. He hit just 33.7 percent of his field goals and 30.0 percent of his three-pointers.
