2 people were killed and 1 seriously injured in a shooting at a company premises in Germany

BERLIN (AP) — Two men were killed and a third suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Tuesday at a company site in southwestern Germany, police said.

Police said in a statement that the shooting occurred after a masked person entered the facility in Bad Friedrichshall, a city north of Stuttgart, around 5:45 p.m.

The police are looking for the perpetrator. They said a large-scale operation was underway, including a helicopter, but they did not believe there was any threat to the public.

There was no immediate information on the victims’ identities or other details.
