Bengaluru police said Techi’s “missing” son is staying at a Haryana boarding school

Bengaluru police said Techi’s “missing” son is staying at a Haryana boarding school

On Wednesday (January 8), a boarding school in Haryana’s Faridabad confirmed that the child of technician Atul Subhash, who died by suicide due to molestation by his wife and in-laws in Bengaluru, is enrolled in the facility and staying in their hostel.

The school informed the Bengaluru police after an inquiry was initiated into the child’s whereabouts.

Bengaluru-based techie Atul Subhash’s mother has filed a custody application for her grandson, claiming the child is “missing”. However, the high court rejected her appeal, stating that she was a “virtual stranger” to the child.

The school principal sent a letter to the Marathahalli police station confirming the child’s admission to the boarding school.

The letter stated that the four-year-old boy was a bona fide student and was enrolled in the nursery.

According to media reports, the child’s mother, Nikita Singhania, ended the child’s admission process by claiming to be the sole guardian and deleting the father’s details from the application form.

“Nobody came to take the baby home over winter break.”

Moreover, the school mentioned that since no one came to take the child home during the winter break, special arrangements were made for him at the shelter.

Nikita Singhania’s lawyer on Tuesday revealed for the first time that their child is staying at a boarding school in Faridabad and will soon be taken to Bengaluru to meet her mother.

The child has been living there since her mother’s arrest. But now, when Nikita is released on bail but ordered to stay only in Bengaluru, the child will be shifted to the city.

However, the court ordered the child to be brought before the court at the next hearing.
