A man has been arrested for defrauding the victim by falsely promising to work in Great Britain

Police arrested 24-year-old Ram Krishna Dahal on Wednesday on charges of defrauding the victim by promising to send her to the UK to work.

According to the victim’s complaint, Dahal took Rs 3.15 million and cut off contact with her. Acting on a complaint, a police team from the Kathmandu Valley Criminal Investigation Bureau in Teku arrested Dahal at his residence in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-8 in Kathmandu.

Dahal was transferred to the Kathmandu district training ground in Bhadrakali for further investigation and legal action.
