Minneapolis crews responded to Pleasant Avenue for a residential fire, no one was injured

No injuries were reported after Friday’s apartment fire in Minneapolis.

An apartment fire in Minneapolis was extinguished early Friday morning.

At 2:54 a.m., the Minneapolis Fire Department reported that fire crews responded to a two-and-a-half-story apartment building at 3000 Pleasant Avenue South.

At 2:56 a.m., the department reported that most of the fire had been extinguished, and at 3:11 a.m. the fire was completely extinguished.

No one was injured as a result of the fire, and the residents were safely transferred to a public bus to keep warm.

At this time, the cause is still under investigation. The department did not say whether residents were allowed to return to their apartments.
