Givati Brigade kills three terrorists during Operation Jabalya – Israel News

Givati Brigade soldiers located and killed three terrorists in the Jabalya area during an operation aimed at thwarting an imminent attack, it says IDF on Saturday.

As part of the operation, soldiers identified several terrorists moving nearby.

Using drone reconnaissance, soldiers spotted three terrorists who approached and hid in a nearby building. The terrorists tried to attack the soldiers through a shaft inside the building.

The video released by the IDF shows one of the terrorists armed with a gun inside the structure. The soldiers opened fire, killing two hiding terrorists. The third terrorist was killed in another deliberate operation carried out by soldiers of the Givati Brigade.

Also on Saturday morning, missile sirens sounded nearby Gauze border communities on two separate occasions. The first incident was later identified as a false alarm, while the second was the result of a single rocket being fired from the Gaza Strip. The IAF successfully intercepted the missile.

Expanded operations in Gaza

In recent weeks, soldiers of the Givati Brigade Combat Team, operating within the 162nd Division, eliminated Saad Saeed Zakhi Dahnon in close combat.

Dahnon served as a company commander and deputy chief of the northern Gaza missile complex of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. He infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the brutal massacre on October 7. Dahnon also organized and led numerous ambushes against our forces in the Beit Lahiya area.
