Kat Dennings reveals that at the age of 14 she wasn’t allowed to watch THIS show

Kat Dennings recently reflected on her appearance on the HBO series Sex and the City as a teenager.

In the latest episode of the program View, Two broke girls the actress recalled her guest role in Sex and the city at the age of 14.

“Well, it was very interesting because obviously I wasn’t allowed to watch Sex and the City as a child,” the 38-year-old said last week during an interview with hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines.

Kat shared that she had no idea about the show, saying, “Even our family didn’t have cable, so I really had no idea what the show was.”

Which is why Thor the actress mentioned: “I auditioned. I thought, “What a weird show.” What a strange title.”

“And then on the way home, on the train, we saw a building… “Sex and the City”. billboard all over the building,” she noted.

Kat went on to say, “When I did that and walked into, like, The Gap in Pennsylvania, people were like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Jenny Brier! Like give her an employee discount!”

“I was getting discounts!” she added.

In early 2022, Kat appeared in The Drew Barrymore show where she recalled that when the episode aired, her mother invited her friends to watch her show.

However, Kat’s mother turned off the TV when she realized that in some scenes her daughter was talking about sex.
