Priscilla Presley pays tribute to Lisa Marie Presley 2 years after her death

Priscilla Presley remembers Lisa Marie Presley.

On Sunday, January 12, Priscilla, 79, she paid tribute to her deceased daughter on Instagram, who died on January 12, 2023. She posted a video of Lisa Marie playing somber music.

“I miss you more than words can express,” she wrote in her heartfelt caption. “I wish I could hug you, talk to you, see you smile just once again.”

“I would like you to see how much you are still loved and how much we miss you, all of us who carry you in our hearts,” added Priscilla, then signed “Mom.”

Lisa Marie’s daughter, Riley KeoughAlso remembered the singer-songwriter on the anniversary of her death. Keough, 35, shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Lisa Marie with a heart emoji on her Instagram Stories.

Navarone GarciaLisa Marie’s half-brother posted about her on Instagram also on January 12. “I am sending you my love and thinking about you today,” he wrote.

Several months before her death, Lisa Marie suffered from long-lasting fever, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting. On January 12, she was taken to hospital possible cardiac arrest.

As a result, Lisa Marie eventually died complications resulting from bariatric surgery according to which she passed many years ago autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla shared a statement with People on the day of Lisa Marie’s death.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to cope with this profound loss. Thank you for your love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.”
