Man charged in woman’s shooting death at Residence Inn Baltimore

BALTIMORE – An 18-year-old man faces murder charges in connection with a November 2024 shooting at an East Baltimore hotel.

Kierra Tripp, 28, was found with a gunshot wound to the face in the 12th-floor hallway of the Residence Inn by Marriott on N. Wolfe Street.

Police say she and the alleged shooter, now identified as Davion Foreman, attended a party at a hotel near the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.

The detectives were fired late last year surveillance recordings people leave the party hoping to find the bandit.

Charging documents do not reveal a motive for the murder or whether Foreman and Tripp personally knew another.

Foreman was arrested on January 9.
