A man has been charged with attempted murder over the Bartley Green shooting

A man was charged with attempted murder after two people were injured last summer.

West Midlands Police said Jordan Edwards, 31, from Birmingham, was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Police said the charges followed an incident on August 28 in Clapgate Lane, Bartley Green, where a man suffered a gunshot wound and another suffered a skull fracture.

Mr Edwards was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today for his first hearing.
