Brooke Shields recalls noticing her first wrinkle during a photo shoot

Brooke Shields she remembers the exact moment when she noticed the first wrinkle in a fragment of her new book.

The actress and model (59) details the wrinkle on her skin during a photo shoot in her memoir Brooke Shields must not age – which hit shelves on January 14.

Shields wrote that after posing for a few photos, she “had a look at the monitor.”

She then pointed to what looked like a “weird line” on the check and told the photographer, “I think there’s some dust on the camera lens.”

However, the photographer quickly corrected it.

“His reaction was like sympathy: ‘Oh, you’re cute.’ There was no dust. “That ‘something’ was a wrinkle,” Shields wrote.

The Start The CEO continued to say that once, during a routine visit to a dermatologist, the doctor “waved his hand in my face and said, ‘We can fix this…’ “in reference to her aging appearance.

“Sometimes I look back and feel like I did something wrong because I no longer have the body or face I once had. And yet if I did something drastic to preserve my youthful appearance or stop aging, I would be judged or punished for it too,” Shields wrote in a reflection. “Do I sometimes wish all my bits had stayed taller and firmer? Or that I have the same skin that appeared on the cover of Life magazine in 1983? Of course!”

Shields said she struck up a conversation with the homeowner about the wine.

“I compared myself to a bottle of 1965 Barolo – it was like jam at that point,” she explained. “He kind of shut down and his tone changed. He said, “You really shouldn’t tell me that.” I thought, “Wow, wait, that’s offensive.”

The actress continued: “And then it hit me: We imprint on people of a certain age – like we have their picture in our locker, and when they grow up, we’re not ready for it. We are getting old too. And I think getting older is brave.”
