Charlotte FC have signed former Crystal Palace legend Wilfried Zaha

The 32-year-old striker, who made a name for himself at Crystal Palace, is at the club until January 17, 2026, with the option to extend the loan until June 30, 2026, if he proves successful.

After leaving England’s top flight in the 2024/25 season, Zaha played for the Ligue 1 giants on loan from parent club Galatasaray.

However, after only six appearances for the French team, he decided to move to the United States to start a new chapter.

“Wilfried is a world-class talent who has proven himself at the highest level in sport as an elite goal scorer and chance creator. His performances in the Premier League and at international level speak for themselves and we are confident that Wilfried can make an immediate impact in Major League Soccer,” said CEO Zoran Krneta.

During his time in England, Zaha recorded 68 goals and 29 assists in 305 appearances for Palace and Manchester United.
