Nigeria: Court judgments of the killer of the couple Ogun, son, to death, hanging

The judge also sentenced Mrs. Fadairo, wife of Mr. Adekanbi, in two years imprisonment for distorting the course of justice, hiding her husband.

Meanwhile, the mother of Adekanbi, Adeque, was also sentenced to prison for annual deprivation of false statements to policemen.

Mr. Usman, a welder, was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for receiving stolen property; Two years as an accessory of the fact that weapons and seven years for a combination of crimes.

Earlier, the lawyer of the prosecutor, Adefisoye Temilola, told the court that the trio had committed crimes on January 1, 2023 at Karounwi Street, Ibara Housing Estate in Abeokut.

Mrs. Temilola said that Adekanbi, who was a steam driver, conspired with the gentlemen of Netetola and Adenyy to rob and murder the pair.

She also said that they robbed his wife, Bukola, from her phones, worth 1 million N.
