Rubio supports the Trump plan to take over Gaza – Middle East and Africa

Secretary of state Marco Rubio late on Tuesday seemed to support President Donald Trump’s plan to take over the United States Gaza, saying that the Palestinian enclave must be free from the Hamas Islamist group.

On Tuesday, Trump proposed an American takeover of gauze, in which Israel’s military assault in the last 16 months killed tens of thousands, after he had previously suggested that Palestinians in the enclave should be permanently displaced. The idea was condemned by experts and supporters of rights.

Trump’s earlier comments that Palestinians should move to Egypt, and Jordan has already been publicly rejected by Palestinian leaders and leaders of the Arab world, while condemned by human rights supporters as an ethnic purification proposal.

“Gaza must be free from Hamas. As @Potus shared today, the United States is ready to lead and make Gaza beautiful, “said Rubio on X.” Our pursuit is a lasting room in the region for all people. ”

While Trump has raised suggestions regarding Palestinian resettlements from January 25, statements issued by the Rubio State Department on his websites after subsequent connections of the highest American diplomats with regional leaders did not clearly mention Trump’s suggestions.

Trump did not provide many details that his proposal on Tuesday. Post Rubio did not develop further.

According to the Ministry of Health, Gaza, an American ally of Israel, has been killed by over 47,000 Palestinians in the last 16 months, and led to the genocide and warning, which Israel denies.

The attack internally displaced almost the entire gauze population and caused a crisis of hunger. Fighting has now stopped among the fragile suspension of weapons.

The latest bloodshed in a ten-year Israeli-Palestinian conflict was caused on October 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1200 and taking about 250 hostages, according to Israeli Walla.
