A man arrested after allegedly driving through the airport fence for starting belts

Lexington, Ky. (Lex 18) – The man was arrested on Monday evening after he allegedly drove through the fence around the Blue Grass Airport and to the “active runway”.

According to the quote, 51-year-old Steven Hockensmith was arrested after the police responded to the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington to “an unauthorized vehicle in a commercial runway”.

Quoting states that Hockensmith was “found in a private vehicle on the overall airport ramp after supposedly hitting a parked turtleneck.”

After further investigation, quoting notes that Hockensmith “drove his vehicle through a fence near Versailles and traveled through several active runways before he stopped, hitting a parked turtleneck cart.”

According to the quote, the police obtained video material, which “shows Hockensmith by turning and hit a turtleneck, causing damage.”

Quoting describes in detail that Hockensmith “repeated many times to the police that he intentionally blurred the airport fence to access.”

He was reserved in custody in Fayette and accused of the following:
