Four killed as aircraft disasters controlled by American military in the Philippines

MANILA: The small plane, which crashed in the southern Philippines on Thursday (6 February), killing at least four people on board, was contracted by the American army, the US embassy confirmed without further details.

The Filipino army stated in a statement that it could not disclose information about the accident on Mindanao island, because the case was classified and the investigation was in progress.

A small number of American soldiers is introduced to a short -term rotational distribution in the Philippines, where the US army helped to provide interview with soldiers fighting fighters related to the Islamic State group, which remains active at Mindanao.

The US Indo-Pacific Headquarters in Hawaii did not immediately answer inquiries.

The spokesman for regional police Jopa Ventura told AFP that the officers have not yet determined the cause of a permanent plane crash on the farm near the Ampatuan commune.

He said that none of the four known victims was identified, adding that the police and soldiers were arranged on the website to prevent potential manipulation of evidence.

The aircraft tail number, identified by the police as N349CA, was registered in the Metrea Defense company, in accordance with Flight Flight Flight, which identified it as Beechcraft Super King Air B300.

The metro website describes the company as “a leading effect of effects as services for national security partners in many domains and several areas of the mission.”

Municipal lifeguard Rhea Martin told AFP that her team found four dead bodies at the disaster.

“The bodies were found near the plane,” AFP said, adding: “The plane was cut in half.”
