Five people shot and killed in Philippi East

Cape Town – five people were shot and killed in Philippi East, Cape Town.

Western police Cape said that the incident took place in Better Life on Friday evening.

It is understood that the victims sat in the vehicle when four armed attackers approached them and opened fire.

Four suspects then erected a vehicle, while five victims were still inside.

Spokeswoman Provinical South African Police Service (Saps) Potelwa said that five dead people were first robbed before they were murdered.
