Fayetteville Middle School substitute teacher charged with indecent behavior towards student

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WRAL) – A substitute teacher at a Fayetteville middle school has been charged with indecent behavior towards a student.

On Sunday, Fayetteville Police Department detectives charged and arrested Brandon Cromartie on several criminal charges.

Police say the arrest is related to events that took place last school year with a student attending the junior high school. Nick Jeralds, where Cromartie was a substitute teacher from 2021 until September.
