Police say the husband kills his wife, shoots their son and then takes his own life

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX/Gray News) – Police in Mississippi say a husband and wife are dead and their 19-year-old son is recovering from an apparent murder-suicide.

Biloxi police responded to a shooting report last Friday around 6:17 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found two people dead, identified as 43-year-old Jamie Dejurnett and 46-year-old Antonio Dejurnett. Police say they were husband and wife WLOX reports.

Officers also found a third gunshot victim: the couple’s 19-year-old son. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The investigation is still active, but police believe Antonio Dejurnett shot his wife and then his son. He then allegedly took his own life.
