A food delivery person was allegedly left bleeding after being hit by a car on Stadium Way.

The January 9 event was detailed in a Facebook post by: Cycling Guru.

According to reports, the cyclist was riding his Electric Assisted Bike (PAB) when a car collided with him and dragged his electric bike for 200 m.

The rider was allegedly bleeding from his body, arms and legs.

Photos attached to the Facebook post showed a cyclist sitting on the side of the road with a hole in his pants.

His fingers were also in blood.

His electric-assisted bicycle lay in a mangled pile on the side of the road.

An ambulance was called for the cyclist.

According to the Facebook post, the driver responsible for the hit stopped his car, a white Toyota, on the opposite side of the road and approached the driver.

He then allegedly told the injured cyclist that the incident had caused him stress.

Bike Guru also mentioned in his post that drivers in Singapore are legally bound by the Road Traffic Act stop and helpe if their vehicle causes injury or damage.

The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) told Mothership it was notified of the accident at around 6.35pm.

Officers at the scene assessed whether one person was slightly injured; the person refused to be sent to hospital.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) added that a police investigation is ongoing.
