Hyderabad: A female assistant manager working in a private bank who tried to die suicide jumping from a multi-story building at ul Bachupally on Thursday, he died in hospital on Friday.

It is suspected that work pressure was the cause of the suicide. K. Satya Lavanya (32), a native of Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh, lived with her husband B. Veera Mohan and her in-laws in an apartment in KCR Colony in Bachupally. She worked in a nearby bank in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar.


According to police, Lavanya shared information about her with friends and family working pressure and not being able to cope with it. The family was preparing to leave for their hometown Sankranti.

On Thursday evening, after returning home from work, Lavanya jumped from the terrace of the apartment in the absence of her family. She suffered serious, bleeding injuries. Neighbors took her to a nearby private hospital, where she died during treatment on Friday.

Bachupally police said the case was being investigated from every possible angle.
