How to watch live coverage of the 2024 election results on ABC News

On Election Day, voters across the country will be eagerly waiting to find out whether former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris will win the race for the White House.

ABC News will have full coverage of the presidential election results and many other key down-ballot races on Election Day and in the days after as votes continue to be counted.

Here’s what you need to know about how to get the latest election results:

How to watch or broadcast live election coverage and results

ABC News will broadcast and publish the election results live. The coverage will be broadcast live on the ABC television network and on the 24-hour streaming channel ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu.

Viewers can also stream the coverage via the ABC News app on smartphones and internet-enabled devices, as well as on ABCNews.com.

ABC News Digital and 538 will provide comprehensive Election Day coverage, including a live blog with up-to-date analysis and reporting from the field, as well as highlights from significant races and voting trends. You can also get the latest results from presidential, Senate, House and gubernatorial races on ABCNews.com and the ABC News mobile app.

What time does ABC News’ live coverage start on Election Day?

ABC News Live will begin coverage of Election Day at 8 a.m. EST. In addition to ABC News Live’s daytime coverage, ABC network coverage begins at 7 p.m. EST, when polls close in several states. Coverage will continue throughout the evening and into early Wednesday morning.

The coverage will be led by presenter and editor-in-chief of “World News Tonight” David Muir. He will be joined by ABC News Live’s Sunday “World News Tonight” anchor and “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis, chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week” Martha Raddatz, chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week” Jonathan Karl, chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce, senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, and Washington, D.C., bureau chief and vice president Rick Klein.

Chief justice correspondent Pierre Thomas, correspondent and senior investigative reporter Aaron Katersky, chief legal analyst Dan Abrams and U.S. Supreme Court specialist Kate Shaw will form the “Ballot Watch” division, led by ABC News’ investigative unit, monitoring all topics related to election integrity .

In addition, there will be correspondents in all seven battleground states and reporters in the remaining states.
