Bill Belichick had the catch of the day, but it wasn’t football.

The former NFL coach donned a matching fisherman costume his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordan Hudson’s mermaid costume for the couple’s first Halloween together.

Former Bridgewater State University cheerleader posted photos of the couple on her Instagram as the two happily posed in their costumes on the beach and Belichick imitated catching Hudson with a fishing pole.

In the photos she posted, Hudson looked adoringly at the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach.

Belichick was wearing a fishing hat, raincoat, jeans and boots, as well as the aforementioned fishing rod.

Hudson had a mermaid tail with scales on the bottom.

“Ouuchhh!!!” – she signed a few photos along with a fishhook emoji.

Belichick and Hudson began dating after the former Patriots coach split from his longtime girlfriend, Linda Holiday.

Belichick and his new girlfriend, 48 years his junior, first met while flying together in 2021.

The mermaid costume was Hudson’s second Halloween costume this year, after she wore a costume that paid homage to her soccer coach boyfriend.

Photos obtained by TMZ showed Hudson dresses up as Belichick he returned, when he was the Giants’ defensive coordinator, during a weekend at Disney World to celebrate his engagement.

In the photos, she could be seen wearing a white Giants T-shirt paired with white shorts, and in one snap, she could be seen standing in the same stoic style that Belichick would display during his time as coach.

Photos of Hudson that circulated following the TMZ report he made a cheeky reply from former NFL quarterback and current Prime Video analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“All you 48-year-old hopeless romantics, consider that your future self may not be born yet,” Fitzpatrick wrote on social media.
