GEORGETOWN, Minn. — At least one person was injured after a crash in Clay County.

The incident occurred on a gravel road in Georgetown, west of U.S. Highway 75, around 2 p.m. on Friday, November 1.

Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Martin said the minivan passed through with five people inside and no other vehicles were involved.

One person had to be transported to hospital by helicopter. It’s unclear what caused the van to overturn or the extent of the injuries. Georgetown is approximately 25 miles north of Moorhead.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories titled “personnel.” Often the title “staff” is used when transcribing basic news from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, that require little or no reporting. Sometimes this signature is used when an article has multiple authors or when the article is created by combining previously reported news from different sources. If external sources are used, this is noted in the story.
