His iconic “Siuuu” celebration is also replicated around the world and will no doubt be seen long after Ronaldo himself retires.

It is even known that other sports stars tried to celebrate, but this weekend it did not work out as planned college football player.

University of Memphis wide receiver Demeer Blankumsee was dominant for the Tigers and after scoring a 69-yard touchdown against the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Roadrunners, he elected to hit Ronaldo’s target in the end zone.

However, after jumping to “Shoo” he landed awkwardly and his knee buckled backwards.

Blankumsee was then seen lying injured on the sidelines.

His apparent injury occurred in the second quarter, when the Tigers were leading 24-14 thanks to a TD.

Blankumsee returned briefly in the second half, but did not record any more catches.

To make matters worse, the Roadrunners came back into the game and won 44-36.

UTSA scored 27 unanswered points as Memphis’ offense stalled for much of the second half.

Despite the injury, Blankumsee led the Tigers in receiving yards with six catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns during his time on the field.

After the match, he also referred to the incident on social media.

After he shared video of his touchdown at the X, a fan asked Blankumsee if he was OK and said the team needed him “for the rest of the tour.”

“We will absolutely come back better as a team,” replied the winger.
