As part of the Rare Impact Fund Benefit, Selena Gomez she quickly recovered from a small mistake on stage when she accidentally said Diddyname.

On Thursday, October 24, the 32-year-old actress and singer hosted her second annual event to raise funds for organizations that provide mental health services to youth.

While giving her speech, Selena Gomez mentioned several organizations the fund supports, including Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services (DHMS), a youth suicide prevention group.

Initially, everything was going smoothly as Selena discussed her charity’s mission, highlighting its partnership with Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services (DHMS) to support suicide prevention among young people.

“They are committed to youth mental health, from suicide prevention training in schools to drop-in centers in Los Angeles to Teen Line,” Gomez, according to a video obtained by TMZ. “I am honored to have the opportunity to work with such incredible changemakers.”

When Gomez introduced the DHMS executive director, she accidentally said “Diddy” instead of “Didi,” which is pronounced “dee-dee.” The audience burst out laughing at her mistake.

“I’m really sorry,” Gomez said with a laugh to the room as she recovered from her mistake.

While Selena has not directly addressed the wide-ranging sexual assault allegations against Diddy, the disgraced rapper’s legal woes have dominated headlines for several months.
