Hoops’ top 2025 recruits place Alabama in the top four

Class of 2025 prospect and seventh-ranked sharpshooter in the country Davion Hannah announced his top four schools this week, including the Crimson Tide.

Hannah is a 6-foot-7, 175-pound defender from Branson, Missouri, who is one of the top 35 players in the country.

In addition to the Tide, Missouri, Ohio State and Cincinnati compete in the conference. Hannah last visited Cincinnati in early October, but went to Tuscaloosa in August.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Hannah transferred to Link Academy in June for her senior basketball season. The Link Academy Lions win the 2023 GEICO High School Boys Basketball National Championship, defeating several other top high school teams in the country along the way.

As a student at Nicolet High School in Wisconsin, Hannah averaged just under double-double with 18.8 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. He led the Knights to a 24-5 record and advanced to the state tournament semifinals.

The Crimson Tide is currently ranked No. 16 in the 2025 recruiting class with two commits.

Small forward Amari Allen from Green Bay, Wisconsin, who was in Tuscaloosa at a homecoming celebration in Alabama, he committed to the Tide in September and that same month he was joined by fellow small forward London Jemison of St. Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut.
