A professional photographer has died in a horrific accident when he reversed into a plane’s propeller while taking photos at an airport in Kanas.

Amanda Gallagher, 37, was taking photos of people boarding and disembarking planes Saturday afternoon at the Air Capital drop zone in suburban Wichita when she accidentally backed into an active propeller. KAKE News reported.

The avid skydiver was taken to a local hospital in very critical condition, but died from her injuries, the outlet reported.

Gallagher owned a photography company, AG Photography, where she showcased photos from her travels and photos taken at the Air Capital drop zone in Derby, Wichita’s largest suburb.

According to a fundraiser that raised more than $6,000 as of Monday morning, she died “doing what she loved: parachuting and taking photos.”

Her family remembered her at the fundraiser as “kind, adventurous, creative and beautiful inside and out.”
