A school bus was involved in a crash Tuesday morning in rural Eaton County

EATON RAPIDS — Three vehicles, including a Dean Transportation school bus, were involved in a crash Tuesday morning at a rural intersection in Eaton County.

The Eaton County Sheriff’s Office said the crash at South Royston Road and East Clinton Trail resulted in minor injuries, but no students were on the bus at the time.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that the southbound driver was distracted and failed to stop at the stop sign,” sheriff’s officials said in a news release. “EMS treated the drivers involved on scene for minor injuries.”

The police did not say how many people were injured.
