Police are charging New Jersey men with allegedly sexually assaulting minors

Authorities said police arrested and charged two Cape May County men this week in connection with an alleged sexual assault involving two minors.

Arisandro Estrada-Tapia, 20, and Israel Estrada-Tapia, 18, both of Baker Avenue in Wildwood, were arrested Tuesday following a joint investigation by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the City of Wildwood Police Department, according to to a statement issued by Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Joseph Murphy.

The statement shows that Arisandro Estrada-Tapia has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

The statement said Israel Estrada-Tapia was charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Both suspects were taken to the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
