Regina police are investigating the city’s sixth murder of 2024

Regina police are investigating the city’s sixth murder after a critically injured man was found dead Thursday evening.

A police press release says officers were called to Robinson Street near Albert Community School just before 6 p.m. CST on Thursday.

They found an injured man. The officers tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Regina police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating the death.

The victim’s name has not been released.

“At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be made public,” the news release said.
