Gurugram Cyber ​​Police has arrested two cyber criminals who allegedly cheated people in the name of recovering loans taken through a Chinese app by threatening and altering their photos.

On Friday, the police announced that four mobile phones with SIM cards were found in his possession.

According to the police, they were identified as Kapil from Charkhi Dadri and Himanshu from Hisar.

A team of Cybercrime East police station on Thursday arrested accused Kapil from U-Block DLF Phase-2 in Gurugram and Himanshu from Rajiv Nagar Sector-13 in Gurugram.

The police team took further action against the accused and registered a case under section 308 section 2 and art. 351 section 2 BNS at the Cyber ​​Crime East Police Station.

During police interrogation, it was found that Himanshu was obtaining data and photos of people taking loans from the Chinese in order to recover loans taken out through the “The Flaxy Loan Company” application.

“Himanshu used to provide these details and photos to his companion Kapil. Kapil was committing the crime of fraud by transforming these photos and making them obscene and also putting pressure on people to recover the loan,” said Priyanshu Diwan, ACP (cyber crime).

Himanshu has handled loan recovery in app names like Cash Fish Plus, Bajaj Broking, Cash Me, My Cash in Cash, Flexi Loan, Rich Cash Pro, U-loan, Flash Wallet, HD Loan Bazaar, Family Loan, Pokket Ja, kredit Bee, Honest Money, Finshell Salary, HD Loan Bazaar, Money View etc.

Similarly, the Gurugram Cyber ​​Police had last month also arrested a cyber fraudster who was allegedly cheating people in the name of recovering loans taken through Chinese lending apps by threatening them

During police investigation, it was revealed that the accused had collected names and mobile numbers of people through the Telegram app to recover loans taken from Chinese apps.
