Sterling Police Department officers make arrests for assault and DUI – Sterling Journal-Advocate

STERLING POLICE DEPARTMENT

October 12

At 5:36 p.m., Todd Brown, 27, was arrested in the 1500 block of Fillmore St. on charges of molestation, domestic violence, child abuse, resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer.

At 9:57 p.m., Matthew Garcia, 39, was arrested at 100 N. Riverview Dr. on charges of theft and trespassing.

At 2:00 a.m. police were dispatched to 100 Delaware Dr. in connection with suspicious activity.

Police were dispatched to 900 W. Main St. at 3:30 a.m. in connection with vandalism.

At 9:21 a.m., police were dispatched to 100 Delaware Dr. in connection with the theft.

At 11:58 a.m. police were dispatched to 100 Broadway St. in connection with vandalism.

At 12:26 p.m., police were dispatched to 200 Clark St. in connection with the theft.

Police were called about suspicious activity at 2 p.m.

Police were called to 1500 W. Main St. at 6:18 p.m. in connection with the theft.

At 7:02 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Hays Ave. due to a disturbance.

At 10:45 p.m., police were dispatched to 400 N. Fifth St. in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle.

October 13

At 6:38 a.m., Bailey Gonzales, 20, was arrested at 600 N. Fourth St. on charges of domestic violence and third-degree assault.

At 6:50 a.m., Adrian Cullip, 23, was arrested at 600 N. Fourth St. on charges of second-degree assault with intent to cause injury and domestic violence.

At 1:02 a.m., police were dispatched to 100 Park St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 1:12 a.m., police were dispatched to 300 N. Ninth Ave. in connection with a burglary.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Fourth St. at 6 a.m. due to a disturbance.

At 12:02 p.m., police were dispatched to the 200 block of Taylor St. due to weapons violations.

At 12:39 p.m., police were dispatched to the 600 block of Elm St. in connection with vandalism.

Police were called to 1200 W. Main St. at 5:12 p.m. in connection with the theft.

At 6:28 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Fifth St. in connection with vandalism.

At 6:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Charmony Frontage Rd. for burglary.

October 14

At 12:45 p.m., police were dispatched to 300 Hays Ave. in connection with the theft.

At 1 p.m., police were dispatched to 500 N. Division Ave. in connection with vandalism.

At 2:49 p.m., police were dispatched to 100 E. Chestnut St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 3:55 p.m., police were dispatched to 800 Elm St. in connection with vandalism.

At 4:46 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Platte St. in connection with the theft.

At 5:11 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Sidney Ave. in connection with trespassing on the property.

Police were called to 100 W. Main St. at 5:22 p.m. to activate the burglary alarm.

At 7:18 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Evans St. in connection with an animal complaint.

Police were dispatched to 400 State St. at 11:42 p.m. to report a parking complaint.

October 15

At 8:33 p.m., Robert Gray, 38, was arrested at 400 N. Fourth St. on charges of criminal mischief – $300 to $999, driving under the influence, second-degree assault with intent to cause injury, domestic violence, obstruction of telephone calls, child abuse, third-degree assault and DUI per se.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Platte St. at 1:33 a.m. in connection with a burglary.

At 2:29 a.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of Walnut St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 8:23 a.m., police were dispatched to the 600 block of Landrum Ln. for theft.

At 8:33 a.m., police were dispatched to 1100 W. Main St. in connection with a burglary.

At 10:02 a.m. to the 400 block of W. Broadway St. Police were dispatched due to a disturbance.

Police were called to 1500 W. Main St. at 5:26 p.m. in connection with the theft.

Police were called to 1500 W. Main St. at 7:41 p.m. in connection with the theft.

At 11:19 p.m., police were dispatched to 1100 W. Main St. in connection with a burglary.

October 16

At 2:58 a.m., police were dispatched to 200 N. Seventh Ave. in connection with the theft.

At 9:16 a.m., police were dispatched to 200 Lincoln St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 10:08 a.m. police were dispatched to 700 N. Third St. to report a parking complaint.

At 2:57 p.m., police were dispatched to the 800 block of Phelps St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 4:57 p.m., police were dispatched to 100 N. Front St. due to a disturbance.

At 5:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the 500 block of Cleveland St. in connection with an animal complaint.

At 5:58 p.m., police were dispatched to 300 N. Second St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 5:59 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Walnut St. in connection with vandalism.

At 6:42 p.m., police were dispatched to the 500 block of McKinley St. due to a disturbance.

At 7:16 p.m., police were dispatched to 100 S. Third St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 8:25 p.m., police were dispatched to Holly Dr. and S. Seventh Ave. in connection with suspicious activity.

Police were called to 1500 W. Main St. at 8:30 p.m. in connection with the theft.

At 9:25 p.m., police were dispatched to 100 College Ave. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 11:05 p.m., police were dispatched to the 11500 block of County Road 8.5 in Merino in reference to suspicious activity.

At 11:26 p.m., police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Leisure Ln. for disruption.

October 17

At 12:32 p.m. to the 400 block of W. Main St. Police were dispatched due to a disturbance.

At 4:44 a.m., police were dispatched to 400 Macgregor Rd. for disruption.

At 6:58 a.m., police were dispatched to 100 Overland Trl. for disruption.

At 7:22 a.m., police were dispatched to the 12200 block of Highway 61 in reference to a trespasser.

At 9:34 a.m., police were dispatched to 200 W. Main St. in connection with a burglary.

At 1:51 p.m., to the 300 block of E. Chestnut St. Police were dispatched due to a disturbance.

At 3:51 p.m., police were dispatched to 1800 Robin Rd. for a car accident with no injuries.

At 10:04 p.m., police were dispatched to the 400 block of Poplar St. to activate the burglary alarm.

At 10:44 p.m., police were dispatched to N. Sixth Ave. and Jefferson St. in connection with suspicious activity.

October 18

At 10:30 a.m., 30-year-old Gregory Nesmith was arrested for disturbing the peace and trespassing.

At 6:15 a.m. police were dispatched to the 600 block of Holly Dr. in connection with trespassing on the property.

Police were called to 1500 E. Chestnut St. at 6:26 a.m. in connection with a road collision in which no one was injured.

At 7:55 a.m., police were dispatched to 400 W. Broadway St. in connection with suspicious activity.

Police were called to 1500 W. Main St. at 8:38 a.m. in connection with the theft.

At 11:14 a.m. police were dispatched to S. Division Ave. and Delmar St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 12:48 p.m. to the 300 block of Iris Dr. Police were dispatched due to a disturbance.

At 3 p.m., police were dispatched to 100 College Ave. due to disruptions.

At 3:33 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Platte St. in connection with suspicious activity.

October 19

At 2:05 a.m., 36-year-old Joshua Love received a call in the 500 block of E. Chestnut St. for damage to property.

At 5:36 a.m., police were dispatched to 100 Overland Trl. for burglary.

At 8:36 a.m., police were dispatched to 400 N. Third St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 10:47 a.m., police were dispatched to 100 W. Main St. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 2:50 p.m., police were dispatched to 1300 Dawes St. in connection with the trespass.

At 5:46 p.m., police were dispatched to the 16300 block of County Road 39 in reference to a disturbance.

At 6:33 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of N. Second St. in connection with vandalism.

At 6:54 p.m., police were dispatched to the block of Riverside Dr. 20100 in connection with vandalism.

At 8:04 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of S. 14th Ave. due to a disturbance.

October 20

At 7:24 p.m., Gregory Nesmith, 30, was arrested at 100 S. Fourth Ave. on charges of disturbing the peace and trespassing.

At 12:51 p.m., police were dispatched to the 100 block of S. Front St. due to a disturbance.

At 2:23 a.m., police were dispatched to 300 N. Third Ave. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 2:37 a.m., police were dispatched to the 600 block of Fairhurst St. in connection with trespassing on the property.

Police were dispatched to 100 Factory St. at 2:52 a.m. in connection with suspicious activity.

At 3:24 a.m., police were dispatched to 400 Macgregor Rd. for suspicious activity.

At 10:07 a.m. police were dispatched to the 800 block of Jackson St. in connection with an animal complaint.
