Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Preview: The AFC South Clash is coming

The Tennessee Titans will play their penultimate game of the 2024 NFL season, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17 at EverBank Stadium.

Both the Titans and Jaguars have performed well below expectations this season, winning just three of their first 15 games and ranking among the worst teams in the league.

However, one team will need to emerge victorious as the two rivals face off in their second meeting of the season. The outcome of the game will have a significant impact on which team finishes higher in the 2025 NFL Draft order.

Just three weeks ago, the Jags visited the Titans at Nissan Stadium and won 10-6 on the road. This was Mac Jones’ first appearance after the team placed quarterback Trevor Lawrence on injured reserve due to a concussion he suffered a week earlier against the Houston Texans.

The Titans started Will Levis at quarterback this game, but this time they will hand the reins to Mason Rudolph for the second week in a row. Rudolph started three games earlier this year when Levis suffered a shoulder injury, but the team decided to switch to the veteran after the second-year pro had three interceptions in Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Rudolph threw for 252 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions as the Titans lost to the Indianapolis Colts 38-30. The Titans during the match he was losing 38-7, but at the end he scored 23 unanswered points, which gave a decent result.

Now, Titans will be looking to regain the league win after losing both of its early year games to the Colts and the previous game against the Jags.

It is scheduled to start at 12:00 ET on CBS and Paramount+.
