The race for the White House remains virtually tied Vice President Kamala Harris AND former president Donald Trump are entering the final days of their campaigns.

Harris called on Wednesday for Americans to “stop pointing fingers at each other” as she tries to dismiss President Joe Biden’s comments about Donald Trump supporters and “trash” and focus on her Republican opponent in the final days of the race.

Meanwhile, Trump is heading to New Mexico and Virginia at the end of the campaign, hoping to fight for votes in states where Republicans haven’t won in decades.

The former president will campaign in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday in an event that will also take him to battlefields in Arizona and Nevada.

According to the election website 270 to winOn Thursday, Harris was still slightly ahead of Trump nationwide: An average of more than 17 polls showed Harris at 48.2% and Trump at 47.3%, giving Harris a 0.9% lead. This is within the margin of error.

Trump has maintained a slim lead over Harris in seven swing states that will decide the outcome of the election: Polls show him ahead of Harris in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Nevada. Harris led in Wisconsin and Michigan on Thursday.
