A woman died and a man was injured in a double stabbing on Long Point Road, Houston police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway into a deadly incident at a northwest Houston apartment complex.

The Houston Police Department said one woman was killed and a man was injured in a double stabbing on Long Point Road.

HPD said the victims were found with multiple stab wounds around 7:35 a.m. Thursday.

The victims have not been publicly identified, but police say they lived at the complex.

“At this time, I do not believe there is a threat to the community,” HPD Det. Bowling said at the scene but declined to provide any details.

On Thursday afternoon, ABC13 spotted what appeared to be a broom in an evidence bag loaded into the back of a crime scene unit’s vehicle.
